Steve McElveen, President and founder of B2 Integration, has two decades of executive experience delivering B2B integration and collaboration projects to organizations across many industries. Mr. McElveen has held management positions in both software companies and professional service organizations that specialize in supply chain integration. In his prior role as President of Food Solutions, Inc., a software company serving the grocery industry, he was responsible for a 400% increase in revenue in just four years. During this tenure, Food Solutions was awarded one of the highest customer satisfaction ratings given by the National Food Broker Association.
Client satisfaction through delivery excellence is a key component of the B2 Integration strategy. Mr. McElveen personally monitors all projects and is always accessible to clients. His passion for the highest level of customer service has been operative in the successful development of client relationships and strategic alliances.
Thomas M. Gibbs III, Director of Business Development
Thomas Gibbs brings over 10 years of senior management experience in marketing and sales to the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) space having worked for companies that offer both hosted and software-based EDI systems. These positions have focused on business development, channel management and partner development mainly in IBM hardware- and software-oriented relationships. Prior to his experience in the high tech industry, Mr. Gibbs spent 15 highly productive years in executive positions in the consumer products industry driving business in the food, alcoholic beverage, and hard goods markets. Mr. Gibbs truly understands growing companies – their business processes and the IT processes that support them.
Kendall Spurlock, Practice Manager - EDI Integration
Kendall Spurlock spent 8 years pioneering what are today known as GPS applications before going to work for Premenos in 1994. Upon completing the development of templates that interface EDI400 software with that of JD Edwards, Lawson’s, SAP, MAPICS, BPCS, and other software packages, Mr. Spurlock established the Professional Services division where, as the National Director of Professional Services, he was responsible for establishing the EDI400 department and growing it into a department generating $1.2M in revenue. During two decades in the consulting industry, Mr. Spurlock has acquired in-depth knowledge of the supply chain – from manufacturing to logistics and retail. In addition, he brings experience in insurance and workers’ compensation to the table. Mr. Spurlock’s longstanding relationship with the supply chain software companies whose applications enable electronic business transactions and his breadth of experience in the field of EDI systems development uniquely qualify him as an expert resource for B2 Integration’s clients. A passion for effectively addressing each client’s individual business and technology requirements is the challenge that has governed and continues to drive Mr. Spurlock’s career in the EDI industry.
Ramesh Shurma, Practice Manager - Data and Application Integration
Ramesh Shurma brings more than 16 years of high-tech industry experience to the B2 Integration team. Eleven of those years were spent running a successful consulting business. Mr. Shurma has developed and implemented award-winning applications in the field of electronic design automation and network management, and has pioneered advances in the use of XML for application integration. He has extensive experience in the retail, insurance, and finance industries and has managed the implementation of large data integration and data warehousing projects for the GAP, Yahoo, Mervyns, and other clients. Mr. Shurma’s expertise extends beyond the technical to managing teams of multi-national professionals collaborating on complex projects. Mr. Shurma is a Certified Professional Database Administrator and has certifications in Sun Java and Oracle9i.
